This sounds like a really challenging assignment. I think it was a neat idea to make the basketball court in the middle of woods - that is very unexpected placement and it causes you to pause and consider the artwork in a different way.

I love that you found another way to relax! How lucky that you got to do it at school. I think the different patterns that you came up with are really interesting to look at and all very different from one another. My favorite is either -the one that alternates a box with three lines then a box with a rectangle in it -OR- -the one that is made up of circles of different sizes The second one makes me think of the moon or air bubbles rising up through water.

Does “blind contour” mean you literally don’t look while you are drawing? How were you able to come up with something recognizable? I love that you used different techniques/patterns to add color.

The Simpsons always makes me think of that ride we went on at Universal Studios. These drawings bring back good memories!
