I had to read up on “complementary printing.” You sure made the 2 yellow symbols or shapes pop out! Imaginative thinking and title.

Love it. Didn’t know you knew what a peace sign looked like. A long time ago, I had a peace sign sewn on my jeans. I remember you did “Ubuntu” as a theme for some artwork last year.

Beautiful. I heard someone describe a person as a shooting star that could talk. Reminds me of you…a beautiful burst of light, full of colors, that lights up our lives!

Reminds me a little bit of the “Mondrian” art…black lines, white background and primary colors. I also thought of heart balloons on strings. It also reminded me of how our hearts can get “tangled up” sometimes.?

AJ: love the color blocks…they have a kind of translucent effect. (Look up the word translucent.). I know you like hearts. Your last artwork had hearts, also. You have a big heart!?.

I had to look up what “Mondrian,” was. He was a famous artist known for his abstract art using black lines, a white background and primary colors. I’d say you have captured the essence of Mondrian art! So happy for you that you have art classes where you get to use your imagination and creativity!

Wow, your drawings of people have really improved! I like the grin on the first person with the black pants. Do these 4 people represent people you know? Somebody has cool red shoes, too. Isn’t there a “Pete the Cat,” who rocks his new red sneakers at school? Grooovy!

I looked up flowers/bones by Georgia O’keefe….quite a bit of her art used antlers and a flower. Made me wonder what inspired the artist to do that? Do you know?

Ubuntu…beautiful way to live. Love how they are holding hands in your art work! Shows meaning. Also like the border or frame you created. Can “ubuntu” include caring for the earth?

I know a “dude” who use to he a “cool cat!” Your cat reminded me of Pete the Cat….now Pete is a cool cat! Hot dog reminded me of the book you use to read to us…”dog is hot.” But he was cool in the pool. Art sure is expressive and personal. Love.
