In this piece, Letter to a Friend, the artist expresses his longing for a bygone era of simplicity and intention. Through color and linear composition we see the artist’s belief in a back-to-basics future.

A dark presence spreads across a brilliant yellow landscape potentially obliterating its energetic essence. Still, one senses hope in this painting as we are left to consider whether the glass is half full or nearly empty. Well done!

This young artist is clearly maturing his POV as he grapples with a world full of both chaos and hope. While the cherry on top is off kilter, perhaps even adrift, it nonetheless asserts its very quality to shine and its ample ability to be heard. Bravo!

Love his ability to paste outside the box, and an excellent demonstration of the synergy between primary colors.
