Johnny, I loved your wonderful use of bright colors in your Sunflowers! You did a nice job blending the pastels to make an interesting color on one of the flowers. You chose contrasting colors for the background done in a watercolor wash. Bright and good use of the space. Nana

Wow! This is your best art for me. Vibrant (a new word?). And with one behind the other two you created a sense of depth (called 'interposition' to be art technical!).

Wonderful! Your art reflects Japanese art terrifically well. Maybe on a visit to the desert we can enjoy a Japanese restaurant! Poppa.

John, you created a nicely formed pinch pot. The pattern you drew into the clay added very nice texture . I liked your choice of glaze in several colors.

What colorful snakes you created, Johnny! It was interesting to see the bright colors you used for your overlapping snakes. I wonder if they are Arizona desert snakes slithering through the hot sand I really enjoy seeing your finished artworks. Nana

Hi Johnny, Poppa loves the winter scene. The trees are bare, snow is on the branches and ground, and the sky is gray. Not like the desert! Please draw/paint more. Nanna and I love to see them!

Johnny, I love your hands reaching up for the falling leaves. The lines you drew on the leaves to show the leaf veins were so well done. Great use of color and the watercolor background is perfect for showing off the colorful leaves. I love seeing your artwork!
