Whoa, these are dizzying colors! This actually looks like the dress I'm wearing right now, so of course, I think it's terrific. The way you've centered the poppy type flower is perfect; it just pulls in all the other colors around it. I'm very intrigued by the little black hatch marks, too.

This guy is staring at me! Alexander, you've made his blue eyes and dark pupils so intense - they're piercing. (And a little bit funny, too.) I love how you've got the ovals and circles on his face in such great positions. The collage pieces in different colors add drama.

I love how the artist captured the essence of a waterlily in this serene 3d work. His use of a wash of different tones in the background create a wonderful setting for the flower which is further accented by his use of different shade of greens and shadows in the petal. This is a very successful and more mature work then one would expect at his age, showing a high degree of artistic ability!

I love how the artist explored the use of color vs black and white in this multimedia piece, as well as the use of words surrounding his picture highlight is personal interests. It’s a beautiful snap of him in this moment of his life.

A very cool tiger, Al. His symmetrical face is right on and his colors are, too. Do you remember the small wool rug I used to have that looked kind of like him, but not as good.

This is just beautiful. Your art work is always great, but this Water Lily is spectacular with its vibrancy in blue and green. The pop-up leaves add so much - make the blossom look almost real. When I step back and see all the layers of yellowy-gold, white, green, blue and black, it looks like it's floating.

I love your tiger Alexander! Did you get the symmetry by folding the paper? It reminds me of the tiger on the box of Frosted Flakes cereal! Tony the Tiger would say your painting is “great” and I would agree!

Alexander, this is another wonderful piece of art you've done. I love it and I've learned some things. I didn't know bananas were one of your favorite foods or that gold was one of your favorite colors! This portrait/collage will be a great way of remembering what you were like at seven, in the beginning of second grade - very handsome and interesting guy. The way you've sort of drizzled your paint and mixed bright colors is eye-catching.

Another wonderful piece of Alexander's art. Alexander and the Beanstalk? Alexander karates a cactus? I love it. The colors are beautiful and the perspective is right on. The little black bristles on the giant plant are realistic and the pink flowers, too. You are my favorite artist, Alexander.

I see your favorite colors at the third, fourth and fifth rings of this beautiful circle. And mine at the second and sixth; your mom's at the seventh. This circle has favorites all around - don't know what the cats like best. The very center of this piece looks like a perfect rose bloom. And it's another one that makes me want to walk because it's like a labyrinth. Your art is lovely.

While this could be viewed as stark and simple in some way with a limited palate, the artist has actually done a wonderful job of pairing this subject down to its most essential components, allowing us to see the true beauty of the trees.

The off set of the center brings the eye to a vey comfortable starting place. The chosen colors remind me of sunshine on a warm summers day. Yet another stunning work by Alexander!

This reminds me of a mosaic! I love the repetition of the colors and how they draw he eye out from the center.

This makes me think of birch trees - not white, but in my favorite colors, Y and B!! I can see how their leaves are being blown by the wind. I love this piece.

I love this Alexander! I think you should call it “Birch Tree Forest.” I love to paint landscapes and birch trees are my favorite! Great work!

Dinosaur, maybe Tyrannosaurus Rex?Cool hieroglyphics. I love the little man at the bottom of your bumpy, rough-looking cave wall. Your use of green for the writings makes them very easy to discern. Love you.

I might have a hard time writing bc the dots are making me DIZZY. This labyrinth makes me want to walk - follow the many colored paths. I just realized, this looks like the universe. I love your art, Alexander.

I love the perspective in this piece! I almost feel like I can walk down the rows of pumpkins to reach the distant trees. Great work Alexander!

I love the graffities like flair of this picture. Even using such structured elements as a graph like format and alphabet letters the artist imbues a sense of self and individualism in the forms chose and the mottled backgrounds. I feel we can expect great things from Alexander!

Absolutely beautiful. I would love to see the piece it was woven from. However even broken up and woven it is alluring and evocative.

Stunning perspective. Especially for such a young artist.

I love the bold color choices in this piece. The blues and light purples remain muted, making the bold, construction lies of the red even more dramatic, while the bottom captures our attention with the choice of a complementary green. I definitely see the work of an artist in the making!

I love how this piece evokes surrealism. Overall the piece takes on a good direction of line and uses a dominate red to bring our eyes to important aspects of the piece, such as the falling figure and what appears to be part of a face in the right hand corner. The use of line direction and the colors red and purple also help us travel through the drawings narrative.

This is a fascinating piece, Alexander. I think the dusty blue walls and red window frames are perfect together. The surprise element in the lower window is really neat... green! I love this and feel really special that I have it in my home.

I love this little pig with his curly tail and tall ears. He looks like he's having a really good time in that green field under the beautiful blue sky. I think Alexander's water color sky and field are delightful.

This is very interesting. I want to examine every letter box for each sharp letter on its own special color. I think the two little happy faces at the bottom are just fun and happy!!

Alexander's art work just makes me happy. I love this one - how it uses multi-color crayon and paper strips to look kind of like a collage. I think it's stunning.
