Saw this leaf project on pinterest, but we didn't have any maple trees nearby at the time, so we just made our own and Leo helped color the leaves, paste the eyes and noses, and helped write his name.

I actually love that you captured this. He makes lines and arrangements on the floor at home too. I've been documenting it for a couple years. He arranges all kind of things, very specifically, then examines them closely. His favorite shape to make is like a 'T' or like this ----: a line with two dots. Some are actually pretty cool.
