"Kindergarteners practiced tracing their arm and hand after reading the book, "I Ain't Gonna Paint No More". Later, they added color with crayons and tempera paint. This project also helps teach appropriate use of materials and being a helpful friend during clean up time."

"Students learned about the Primary colors (Red, Yellow, Blue), as well as the famous artist, Mondrian. They practiced their cutting and glueing skills to be like the artist Mondrian---using only squares and rectangles."
