I love the "font" that you created here, especially the capital A. The colors are great too, and the squiggly line above that seamlessly changes color with the high-stem letters. Nicely done! Love, Mama

Somewhat bold? My dear, you are as bold as you are talented. I loved seeing this up at the open house.

Andie, you are developing your skills as an artist, and it really shows! I love the watercolor detail in the butterfly and how it brings out the cloud-like blue patches around it. How did you do the one on the upper left, a sponge? So cool!

What vivid color! Striking use of blue with lovely complementary greens, and the pink and gold are set off perfectly by their background. The detail is magnificent. Another winner, my Love!

Ye gods! You are becoming a professional artist. No, I'm NOT biased. This is amazing, and I love the title! I love how the frog part looks as if it's eating the rest, or itself...and the chiaroscuro of the dark and light. Your skills are really sophisticated. Well done!

WOW, Andie! At first glance I actually thought that this was a photograph (and yes, I was wearing my glasses)! Is it a Christmas ornament? The use of white to show the shape and shine is really amazing and gives the picture life, as does the shadow. WELL DONE Love, Mama

Andie! This is my favorite of all of your art so far. The swirl and movement are delightful, and I love the colors, one of my favorite combinations. It reminds me of fish leaping in the waves! Excellent work!

So many interesting creative choices in a seemingly simple picture! I particularly love the little green stem on the white pumpkin looking up at the black stem on the bigger orange companion. That little detail creates a neat connection between the central objects. Another wonderful touch is the subtle reflection on the black surface below, suggesting a hard shiny finish and a sense of depth. Also, the broad brushstrokes in the blue background give a nice texture contrast. I love your developing artistic vision and style and I hope your art work makes you as happy as it makes me!! Mimi

Andie - This is so cool! I love all the parts of your identity, and how you portray them. The Jigglypuff is especially adorable, and I love that the background of one side is the Italian flag...molto bene! Love, Mama

This visual display of two aspects of coloring is helpful. Combining the definition with the example is effective in presenting the skill.

HI Andie What at first appears to be a simple reflective design has more subtle elements. The more you look, the more you see. you have a great imagination that is apparent in your artwork. Good show!

Your painting is in wild constant motion as I view it. Your take on cubism suggests organized chaos tied together with wavy patterns around the split-view face. Very intriguing art.

You have a talent for seeing the ordinary in an extraordinary way! The pale pastel flower against the vivid hot tropical background evokes a thought-provoking contrast. Your sophisticated design sense shows in your art. Love it!
