Vera, I love your ceramic turtle! At first I thought the pattern at its center was a flower. But looking more closely, I saw a starfish! How appropriate! The smaller circles around your happy turtle are shells— yes? I love your happy guy!!!

Hi. Vera Grandma Carole really likes your turtle. I love how she’s coming out of the blue ocean—beautiful! She will lay her eggs! ? I have walked Cocoa Beach, Florida, and have seen turtle nests and baby turtle tracks to the water after they hatch! What material did you use?

Vera, you continue to show creativity in your artwork. I like the ice-blue stream going off in the distance— the fat penguin is cute and evergreen trees are well drawn. The sky beyond the white mountains is a cold mix of blues, greens, and purple. Your globe portrays how cold it is in there! Bravo!

Vera, I love your cardinal perching on a snow -covered branch! The beautiful blue sky with snow flakes really makes the red bird pop! I think of Bopa ( your grandfather you never met) whenever I see a cardinal! Lovely!
