This is great, Sylvie! Your use of complementary colors certainly makes each color stand out. I am amazed at the way the painting has a 3-D look, as well. It's like a kaleidoscope!

Spooky! Wow, Sylvie! You really captured the feel of a scary Halloween landscape! The shading of the various tints of blue and grey, along with the silhouettes creates a mighty eerie scene. Love this! Grammie

Hi Sylvie, I am in awe of this tree! It has so much character as all of the limbs are so different. You will need to let me know how you made this enchanted work. I really like it a lot! Grammie!

Sylvie, Your Van Gogh inspired flower is absolutely beautiful! I love the way you used the colors of the rainbow in order both in the petals and in the center of the flower. Great work! Keep it up! Grammie.

Sylvie, I am POSITIVE when I say I think your heart is beautiful. The use of calming colors on the heart, reflected in the background of the opposite side is stunning! I have nothing NEGATIVE to say, though I do really like the strong use of positives and negatives in this artwork. I'm certainly proud of your work! Love, Grammie

Great work, Sylvie! Looking Rudolph right in the eye! I love the snowflakes--they are exceptional! Fun ornaments on Rudolph's antlers, too. And the red-nose is perfect! Keep up the great work! Grammie

Hi Sylvie, I am learning so much about art as I view your work. This piece is excellent and really follows the pop art style of Murakami. I enjoyed reading about him and his style. He is an amazing artist and you are certainly showing promise as a future amazing artist! Congratulations on this great work.

Hi Sylvie, I am crazy about your candy heart picture. I did not see this until today. The colors are vibrant and your writing on the hearts is very, very good. I like the way you put the hearts in different directions. Great work, once again! Love, Grammie

Nice work, Sylvie! It's not often that we see a profile of a snowman. We usually see him/her from the front, rather than the side. I really like this view. The color purple was a fine choice for the scarf, as it adds great contrast with the orange nose! And. . .the triangle is perfect, as is the beautiful round head! Keep up the good work! Grammie

Hi Sylvie, This painting is rich in dark colors and the symmetry of the expansive triangles is great! I love that you were able to get such depth of color in a water color medium. The painting reminds me very much of a peacock--strutting the colors of the rainbow. By the way, I really like the way you did all the colors of the rainbow in each section then put all the colors together into one separate section. Great idea! Beautiful painting, Sylvie!

Hi Sylvie, I am truly impressed with your owl and baby owl drawing. Beautiful choice of colors! I can see from looking at the owl's eyes and his feet that he is being very careful as he lands on the tree branch. Great work! Keep it up! Love you, Grammie.

I love this, Sylvie! The perspective is wonderful and using the sun as the focal point shows us how important the sun is for our crops to grow. Great work!!

Wow! This watercolor is really beautiful! I don't know how you managed to keep the colors from running into the letters of your name. You will need to share that technique with me. Keep up the gorgeous work!

Your dot is gorgeous, Sylvie! I love that you used only two brilliant colors to achieve a striking contrast. Driving everything to the center created a great focal point, too! Keep up the great work.
