This is a beautiful work: the shades of blue of the long candle and the shadow that it throws on the table and the glass, the tiny beads of dripped or bubbling wax, the light that shines through to the table. I derive great pleasure from looking at it and studying it! Bravo!

A masterful work that impresses for many reasons! Chloe's portrait is very realistic, and those who know her realize just how faithful this rendering is. It truly captures her personality! Additionally captivating to this viewer is the level of detail achieved by the artist: the hundreds of fur hairs with their varying lengths and shades of color, the threads of the sofa fabric, the shading of the wood in the floors, the background furniture/objects/walls.
