This is one of my favorite (so far!) of your pieces of artwork, Brooks! I wonder what are your favorites...sometimes it's hard to pick a favorite. And I hope you will ALWAYS sign your artwork - you should be proud of the beautiful work that you do.

Another fox! I think you like wild animals, Brooks. I have an older brother who always loved foxes growing up...in fact his favorite stuffed animal was a fox. I think he still has it - and he's 80 years old!!!

I'd love to have you tell me about this latest piece of your artwork, Brooks.... It makes me think of instead of the cow jumping over the moon, the GIRAFFE jumping over the moon. I think your artwork just keeps getting better and better, Brooks! What do you think? What kinds of things do you most like to paint and draw? The water in this painting looks so real...and so does the post that the seagull is standing on. It also looks like, to me, as if the seagull has his (or her) eye on some little sea creature that he'd like to have as his (or her) next snack! I can hardly wait to see what you paint next...

Brooks! I keep trying to guess what you used to make those "dots." Was it your finger-tip? A Q-Tip? The eraser end of a pencil? And I love how colorful your painting is. I just read a book about a little girl named Natalia who couldn't pick a favorite color when her art teacher asked her what her favorite color was. In the end she decided she couldn't pick just one color...she loved them ALL! Do YOU have a favorite color right now? Like Natalia, I think I would have picking just one color for my favorite. BROOKS....I think this little penguin is one of my favorite pieces of your artwork. I love that he's purple ~ and what great earmuffs! I think I see snowflakes in the sky - and snow on the ground. BROOKS ~ I LOVE your sunflower!! I think sunflowers are about my favorite flower. And you know what I especially like about your painting? The three bumblebees you have flying around the flower. You even made them look happy to be doing their job. I will look forward to seeing lots more of your artwork. You don't have to wait to grow up to be an artist...you already are!!
