Alfie, I love the colors you chose for the little details. The buttons, facial features, and trees really pop against the black and white. Very nicely done!

Alfie Omi loves you so much. We have to go see the Koi fish on Belle isle. They’re wonderful if we look it up, we can find the opening spring ceremony. You’ve made two wonderful fish prints. The Koi is my favorite. The other fish print was a good tool to learn how to use and copy for scientific purposes fantastic.

Good job with your lesson from Henry Matisse. Very colorful. We can go to the art Institute and actually see Henry Matisse’s artwork with our own eyeballs

This fishbowl is very interesting to me let me see if I can know what it is. Is it three or four fish in a bowl on a table. Looking down on it from above either way I like.

Alfie, this is a genius thing to do to show the snowman in the circles in the pointy nose. I could not figure it out at first until I read what the artwork was about and I think you did a fantastic job. It’s definitely something to hang on the walls at Christmas time

Alfie, I love that you learn to make a landscape and you made it into a sloping hill rather than a straight line at the horizon. I like the mommy and the baby sheep. Because of Omi’s vision issues, I thought those were black spiders but then I read it and it’s the grass blades so it looks really good

Alfie, it’s good that you’re learning that art is in everything in furniture and rugs and houses and churches, clothing cars specially video games. And the wonderful jewelry that you just made

Alfie, I’m so glad you learned about Mondrian‘s artwork. It’s important because he was unique and showed us how to just appreciate color and shapes which can give us a happy feeling. He was a very highly skilled artist And fashion designers all over the world, copied his artwork and made clothing for women such as dresses and tops. You can look up Mondrian fashion, and it comes back every few years.
