Hi Graham, You are really getting to be a awesome artist. I am VERY impressed with your latest artwork. Drawing people is the hardest thing to do. It looks like you're getting quite good at it at an early age. Keep it up! Did you know there is a very famous artist in our family that painted many famous pictures and portraits during George Washington's time? His name was John Trumbull and some of his paintings hang in the Capital rotunda in Washington, DC. Many of his other paintings are displayed in an art gallery at Yale University in Connecticut. The next time you see a portrait of George Washington, it could have been painted by John Trumbull. John Trumbull was a leutinent to George Washington during the Revolutionary War. There's also a famous painting of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, which was also painted by John Trumbull. Grandma Gretchen
