This is a really fun art piece, Tyler. I like the confectionary line patterns you drew on top of the chocolates and the pointy wrappers around each piece. Looks tasty!!

Love this Halloween Spooky House. Your sky was painted with a very well managed gradient technique. The choice of positioning and the angle of the house created a very nice and very interesting graphic artwork. Tyler this artwork is impressive! I appreciate the way you effectively used highlights and shadows to create the 3D pumpkin. The bottom half (grass) was drawn with an interesting drawing technique to compliment the entire artwork. Well done! You should be proud of this artwork and Grampy and I are always proud of you. What a fun and spooky mood you’ve created here. Once again, your sense of contrast is amazing, in this case with your use of texture. The soft watercolor gradient in the background is beautifully offset by the strong solid silhouette of the house in front. The result is a great sense of atmosphere. I wouldn’t want to live here…but maybe I’d visit for tea. Spooky spooky tea!

The color is wonderful! The yellow at the peaks of the pumpkin show a clear direction of light. The blue peeking out from the sides and bottom both give the pumpkin dimensional volume as well as help it jump off the page with a vivid complimentary contrast. Excellent use of color and light!

Tyler, you created a real sense of depth with a quiet night sky in the background offsetting your vivid pumpkin in brilliant shades of orange. I can see you were very intentional with the direction of your ‘brush’ strokes as well. This is a really wonderful piece of artwork Tyler, I am so proud of you.
