Charlotte: Fun character chosen for this piece. The velvety texture of your plushy and bright colors are very well done. Your grasping hand also looks perfectly real.

Charlotte, Love this piece!! What bright, bold colors--jump off the picture. The detail that I most respect is the textures you have captured in the body and the ?horns?. The texture looks like velvet, or a very soft material. And the shading in the cloth is so keenly astute. Great work of art! Keep your creative juices flowing! G'ma Sandy

Another exceptional artwork by Charlotte, just in time for Easter. Colorful, whimsical, proportionally balanced.

Charlotte, how rewarding to see another of your entries!! It's been a spell since the last. I was not familiar with tessellations, so delighted to see your work as well as your comments and the explanation of the process. You continue to evolve in your art form over time and am thrilled to hear that you are enjoying your continued endeavor into art! May you keep at it with all your passion!

Charlotte, what a prized endeavor! Your detail is worth noting: the shadows with the glasses and the neck, the mouth and teeth, the eyes--and, yes, the glasses and hair! Question if you did the evergreens also. I've heard how difficult portrait painting can be--and what results on this one. Do so appreciate your comments--with the love for your mother and what you captured. Great job! G'ma S.

Charlotte: I thought this portrait was YOU until I read your comment. Sweet way to express love for your Mother; perfect gift for Christmas. The shirt with photo frames design clearly goes with portrait art. Great work !

Charlotte, this still life is lovely!! So soft to the eyes with the ?sketching? You have such a keen eye for detail. The pumpkin and the squash--and flowers--all so finely detailed. That keen eye will serve you well--in all aspects of your life! And the soft curtain in the backdrop adds so much! Keep up the great work! You're on your way with such gifts of art expression!

Charlotte, on first sight, this art piece showing suicide was shocking. As I read each bubble message it became clear what your intention is, to wake us up to Mental Health crisis and the dire need for understanding and compassion to those who are suffering. I admire your courage to address this thru art form.

Charlotte, your art work communicates in the most haunting of ways. You have obviously given a great deal of thought into the message you wanted to convey--and the methodology of your artwork. May you continue to express yourself through your gift of artistry. G'ma S.

As I study this piece more deeply, I am now drawn to how the character on the screen melts off the page--most impressive! I was so focused and drawn to the festive color collage that the very essence of the work "slipped" away!! Great concept and creative work of art! Keep at it!

Charlotte, I truly enjoy seeing your artwork, studying every detail, looking for the unique ways you express yourself thru each design and medium. This tile art project is a beautiful gift for Children in hospital.

Our dear budding artist, this tile caught me immediately for the abstract style, the brilliant colors, and the artistic imagination. It is perfect for a tile in a health care pediatric setting! The colors grab one's attention, the title is perfect for a child experiencing the anxieties and fears of health concerns, yet the happy star, the "demon" with glasses all have a humorous connection to alleviate the fears and distract from anxieties by capturing the imagination! Great job!! You bring your imagination, thoughts and emotions exceptionally well through your art!! May you keep at it! G'ma S

Excellent fun artistry, Charlotte!! I’m familiar with squish mallows, as your cousin Bryce likes these too and has large collection of various sizes, characters.

Charlotte, what a delight to see a fresh entry from you! What fun it must be to take on 'pop art'. Rather free expression. Your squish pillows are comical and full of life. You are certainly talented in changing their expressions in moods and emotions. Do so love seeing your artwork! Will always look forward to more! G'ma S

Excellent artistry ! I’m assuming the sheep symbolize sleepy feeling. Abstract art is interpreted different ways by both artist and viewers. It allows unlimited imagination and freedom of expression as you display in this art piece.

Charlotte, this is a magnificent outlet to express emotions! An excellent display of the thoughts and feelings that can run through our brains at a given time. Your selection of colors, designs and abstract creativity certainly conveys a rash of emotions for any viewer. May you continue to find your art as a means of expression--all emotions! GmaS

Charlotte, ALL your artwork shown on this exhibit is excellent, masterful, brilliant !! Such creative skills and talents you have explored and developed. I'm also curious as to what word is on letter "I" in "Bird" or is it meant to be a word? The 3-dimensional letters are perfectly drawn and colored. Appreciate your critiques and explanations of each art piece. I hope to see more of your art; I'm happy to see you flourish in creative interests.

Charlotte, This is a masterpiece!! Your colors are so brilliant and full of life! All the birds have such animated expressions. We so appreciated your explanation of the mediums used, and your evaluating your own work! How detailed--and what a way to learn and improve for yourself. Question: what is the wording on the 'I' and what does the "x" out of mouth of the green bird. Loving you!!

This fox is an excellent graphic rendition of the red fox that passed right by our kitchen door this week! How is that for perfect timing! And those 'foxy' focused eyes and the pointed ears and nose-just like a living fox! Nice work!

I want you to know how much it means to me to know who you are: what you like, what is important to you, and what you value. Thank you!! Also, I like the lime tie shoes and the big head with the pointed nose! A lot in that head. You expressed your love of animals and your empathy and compassion for humans and animals. Great heart you have!
