Great job son. It almost looks like a mixed media artwork. You used pastel, did you also use white charcoal? Or is that just a white pastel also? Just wondered. You did a awesome job buddy. Now I see exactly what you were talking about son. Keep up the great work buddy.

Sweetie you did a great job on your "strong frog." Lol. He looks amazing. I love the unique drawing assignments. Lol. Ours were always boring "still life's" of a pile of fruit or something similar. Lol. It's like we learned the basics and the class stayed on the basics while very few of us majorly advanced in drawing class and went on to have our art sold at the Art Museum in downtown Little Rock,AR while we were still in high school where the art teacher submitted our artwork their to be sold for us. If it sold we received the payment and if it didn't then the student received the drawing back or could donate it their choice. I believe son you and your sister could well be one of the students that advance a lot quicker bc you both are very talented like I am when it comes to drawing. I love all the students artwork at the school though bc they all do a wonderful job. I still get amazed when I see them all displayed in the hall bc their all so great! The art teacher does a great job obviously.

That's a really cool sun and moon you did son and you nailed the warm and cool colors. I'm glad you are learning the difference In warm and cool colors. I'm sure the different parts of the color wheel will probably be next and just wait and see what you can create when you learn how the colors are grouped on the color wheel to where if you use certain colors together, it will make the other colors "pop". You will discover placing certain colors together will do different things to your art and it's really fun when you learn that and are able to apply it to your art! I'm really proud of you son for paying attention and doing the correct colors for this particular project! Keep up the great work buddy. Mom loves you so much! You make me the proudest mom in the world!
