Clara, I LOVE your latest work that was posted on Artsonia! It is so colorful and vibrant. It seems to be moving, even though it is captured in paint. Thank you for sharing this with us!!!

Wow, Clara, that's an amazing painting. It certainly is unique. I don't think I have ever seen such a colorful jellyfish. The colors are so vibrant, like those in a kaleidoscope or a neon light. I hope you will tell us how you did this one. Well done. What would you feed a moon jellyfish if it was in your aquarium?

Clara, your coin design is very unique and very well done! You included many items in the background that provide the accurate setting for your Everglades Champion. I'll bet each item has its own story, just as the paintings in art museums have. If this one goes into a museum, a docent will lead tours and explain all the elements of your work. :-)

Your Everglades challenge coin design is very realistic, Clara. It's definitely an animal you might encounter while snorkeling among the reefs. As they would say in Italy, "That's a moray!" Well done! Good luck!

Clara, the pun on "sowing" and "sewing" really caught me off-guard! What a clever piece of art! The pun added depth to the art piece. Some day, this piece might be in a museum. The museum docent who is leading a group tour will point out the pun :-).

That's a really unique landscape, Clara. I've never seen art created by sewing. Very clever! I hope you will tell us how you did it. Well done!

Great work, Clara! I love the collage you made. I especially like the foil pieces on which you made designs. Your collage really turned out great! Thanks for sharing it!

Nice work, Clara! Your lamp and lamp shade are particularly interesting. I look forward to hearing how you created this new piece.

That's a very interesting work, Clara. You not only illustrated the contrasts of positive and negative, but also the mirror images that emerge. The gecko is a clever addition, too! In fact, this could serve as a reptile coat of arms. Well done!

Oh, I really like this one! Next time I see you, maybe you can tell me how you did the two different colors for the two sides of each thing you included in this work. :-) Thank you for sharing this with us!

This was the first black and white photos I remember seeing from your collection. I thought it was a pile of very large boulders. I was so surprised when you told us it was a portion of the trunk of a palm tree. It is remarkable how the patterns in nature seem to repeat in many different things! This is a really interesting photo, Clara!

At first I thought that this one was a very close close-up of the black mats on the parking area at CTK. Now, I know you explained this one to us, but I already forgot what it really is. :-)

I remember when you showed us this one, while we are at your house. It is very interesting. Shadows are amazing--as amazing as clouds, really! Great work!

Lovely chrysanthemums! The black and while photography really highlights the textures and shapes of the individual elements of the photo. Great work!

Clara, this might be my favorite picture so far! I love the leaves and in black and white, they are beautiful! Of course, they are beautiful in color, too!

Photos such as this one require the viewer to imagine all the possible objects it could be. They are a great mental stimulant! Well done, Clara.

It appears that you have added photographic art this year. Your black and white photos are a great way to show the many many variations in shapes, textures, and contrasts. We'll done, Clara.

Now, that is a very bored individual. The blank stare, twiddling thumbs, and expressionless face tell the whole story. We'll done, Clara!

Wow! That is a beautiful tree. It's probably a very old tree, because it is so big. Thank you for sharing this lovely paining with us! Love, Yz

Hi, Clara. This is one of my favorite works that you have created. Its title could be: "Paint Brushes" or "Painting Brushes" or "Brushes Painting" Love, Yz

Well done, Clara! Very clever and imaginative painting. You included not only fine brushes for detailed work, but also a broad brush and roller for broader application. That provides a very nice contrast and an interesting way to show the primary colors. Is the color on the right indigo or violet? Those two are not easy to distinguish!

Very nicely done, Clara. You did an excellent job of creating a beautiful tree in abstract. Well done!

Great work, Clara! I like the cool background and the interesting leaves, with all the unique designs on them. Thank you for sharing this with us!

Very nice, Clara. The contrast of the angular background pieces and the textured "leaves" is an interesting perspective. I hope you will explain it to us. Could this be cubism?

This one is interesting. You accurately depicted the snake, especially the head of the snake. The lovely pink flowers are a great addition, too! Good work!

Wow! I really enjoyed this piece! There is so much to see and read. I like the way you put it all together, too. Great work, Clara!

Your did a great job of illustrating two treasures of the Everglades, Clara: the wildlife and the plants. Your snake looks very realistic, and your flowers are so colorful. Well done!

Your art deco poster is very interesting, Clara. The way you displayed the building you created alongside the old postcards gives a nice perspective on Miami and its rich art deco history. Maybe sometime soon, we can all visit the Miami art deco district and museum. Well done!

Clara, your barn, silo, trees, and fields are dazzling. That's really clever the way you made them appear to be part of a quilt. Well done!

Hi, Clara. I really like your fields of colorful flowers with the red barn and the silo! It might be a tulip farm in the Netherlands or maybe it's a flower farm near Fredericksburg, Texas! The rows in the field have unique patterns and colors. Each of the trees is unique, too. Thank you for creating this lovely picture! Love, Yz

This really reminds me of Moab, Utah! The color you used for the mountains is just like the color of the arches, the canyonlands, and even the soil in the back of the house where we stayed. There were lots of adobe homes in the traditional style of that area, too. The shading is really great, too--it makes everything look just like the real scenery!

This is a beautiful picture. It highlights the interesting black and gray trunks of the trees in the foreground of the blazing, firey colors of the sunset behind the trees. It is a great juxtaposition of calmness (the tree trunks) and energy (the setting sun). Thank you for sharing this with us!

Well done, Clara. Your birch trees look nicely warmed by the winter sun.

Very nice, Clara! Your adobe house looks very authentic, The setting could be in New Mexico, Arizona, or even Utah. I really like the colors you chose. The mountains and vegetation blend in perfectly.

Very well done, Clara. You created a perfect mirror image of the building's two halves. Capturing that perspective is not easy!

Clara, this reminds me of art by Maurits Cornelis Escher. It is very interesting and also a sort of puzzle! The triangle you drew when Pop and I were there last week was a very good example of Escher's style, too. Good work! Love, Yz

Great work, Clara! I don't know what a (an?) Ndebele house is, but if they are all like the one you drew and painted, they are awesome!
