Very "cool" Ice cream cone Fi, (Although if the black ice cream on the bottom is licorice.... but I'll think it is black cherry which is great by me)..... Also, I love the "No Free Licks" comment in the middle of the stack.... Nice touch!

Great composition and use of colors Fiona!!

I really like this piece!!... Not sure what "medium" you used for the lines and colors (e.g. pencil, chalk, crayon or other) but the entire portrait is REALLY EXCELLENT!! Fantastic lines, contours, and details on the facial image which all stand out so well and balanced on the right hand side so well with the colors and gradiants (i.e. the blues on top right with the more detailed symbols supported by the bronze hue working so well as a base and visual transition from the portrait.. Well done Fiona!!

Very nice Fiona! I like the solid basket leading up to the rainbow base of the balloon and you can almost feel the heat from the colors of the balloon itself!
Posted 1 year ago by Uncle Ron
Great job of creating a unique rendition of a hot air balloon Fi. I particularly like the dimensions/color scheme of the balloon itself as it draws my eye into it AND "feels" like it is looking at a cut-away of the balloon and we are looking at the inside of the bag Very 3-dimensional image!

I really like this Fiona!! Can't say exactly, just the sense of the butterfly (or could be a bat :-0... but I prefer butterfly!) and the way the repeating waves of color suggest motion flowing out from the darker green (with some even darker highlights/accents) center focus... Well Done!

I really like this one Fi, The subject (sorry, not sure if it's a dragon or butterfly). is the center of attention, and the radiating rings with gradually decreasing shape definition is VERY reflective/suggestive of an echoing image.... Great job!

Wow Fiona!!! There's so much (not at all to be confused with "too much"!) going here... layers of impressionism with graduating visuals proceeding from top to bottom (and how the cute, smiling, red lobster?/'sea critter' positioned at the central bottom just 'pops out'! (although small it just brings such a nice focus and balance to the composition as a whole!)... Well Done!!

You will make a great abstract, artist, Fiona! I love your selection of color!
Posted 3 years ago by Elizabeth
I really like the color composition(s) and the way the textures of the pieces almost "dance" through the page (the little, red, rectangular 'colonnade' holding its own place and style on the yellow/gold background palate is rather 'special' ;-) and then the crimson red bag with the golden crown pouring out more blue tiles that seem to float to the surface as a center piece is a Great focal accent to the whole composition!... Well done Fiona!!
