Ariana, I do love the attentions to details you placed on the dragon eye! Good work!

Ariana, I love your choice of earth colors and the placement of the white and yellow against the darker colors!

First thought viewing this, hearing ‘Ol Blue Eyes’ singing about this famous city. Sun shining on famous Liberty statue given to the USA by France. Colors are fantastic. History lesson for each person viewing this.

Ariana, your inherent talents came from many generations of water colorists. Keep up the good work! Your grandfather left a thick pile of watercolor papers. Let’s plan on doing watercolors together.

Nice dragon and great Chinese characters for New Year!

From someone who has experienced the 1960's and 1970's, this artwork is very psychedelic!!!!!!!!

For a third grader who has never written Chinese characters before, I would say you did an excellent job Ariana. I am really proud of you.

Not sure what you are thinking Ari, but I am thinking this is a Surrealistic presentation. I love your use of colors, they are mysterious? and are those shark tails? I thought of something more morbid, but never mind. This is quite a departure from your works, I do like it a lot.

Ariana, you drew an ambiguous face! What do you want your viewers to think? Is your long hair girl sad? sleepy? dreamy? deep thinking? or simply smirking? Love the big head, and small body. I like how you do your lines, you have such a strong firm hand! Good job.

Ariana, you never cease to amaze me with your creativity! I love to know how your young mind works! Although a skeletal skull is not my favorite topic, yet you made it adorable with its spiral eyes! Were you thinking of a sun burst or multi-petal daisies! I also love the background with the encircling lines of color. How clever! I am so proud your work has been selected, and keep up the good art!
