This is such a striking piece. I love the moody, dream-like atmosphere and how confidently you used shadow and texture. The dolls and the picture are clearly inanimate objects, yet the way you paint them makes them feel alive, as if they have their own personalities and inner worlds. Even the picture on the left is painted as if he were a guest of the dolls. Great work as always, Sofi!

What makes the red pepper stand out is various shades of gray behind it. I love the details of the bottle cap on the wine bottle and the droop of the lip of the coffee cup. I’ve always loved this style of watercolor. Nicely executed!!
