This is a great picture/painting! The detail in the wood planks is so true to life as it would look on the water. Also, the dog resembles a dog that the family owned and was so well-loved especially by the artist!

I like the use of the different symbols used in creating this piece. She has used swirls and small oblong, almost square, pieces to give it an almost medieval look!
