The colorful sea creatures you drew are full of life and imagination. They look like sea urchins and maybe even octopuses, but they’re also something totally new and special—something only you could have dreamed up. I especially loved the one smiling on the sand, watching the others swim. That made me smile, too. I’m so proud of you and your amazing creativity. I bet it would be nice to be a Happy Butterfly, able to fly around and travel to many places. Your butterfly will enjoy the sunny weather and green, green grass. It is also nice to see your handwriting on your artwork! You certainly have enjoyed your school year, and have learned so many things.

How can a drawing be scary and brilliant at the same time? This one has so many dimensions and colors, I don't know where to focus my eyes first. You certainly have come a long with your ability to create interesting artwork. Wow, nice way to close out your 1st grade year.

This one is so full of shapes, sizes and layers. Very interesting how you have put so much on this one piece of art.
