Especially love those dramatic colors, David! The cardinal looks just the way a cardinal should look (that is, "cardinal-shaped"), and the deep colors in the sky and the bright colors on the ground really make a nice contrast with both the bird and with those birches. Great job--as always! Love you!

Love those different background patterns. So many colors and designs coming together in one picture--and somehow you made them work! I think it's the grey vase calming down the brighter colors that does that magic? Anyway, really good job, David! Love, Mimi

David, this is fun for me, because it reminds me of a small town in Alaska, and the different sized houses make it look like a very large expanse of snow. Your snowman looks like someone likes the outdoors!

The blue background is perfect for a winter scene--wintry-looking, but perfect to make the little houses and the snowman really stand out! Another great job, David!

Have never heard of the "bleeding" technique, but it sure is pretty. I love that your leaves are different shapes so they seem to be from different kinds of trees. It's very realistic, as well as lovely to look at. Keep it up, Picasso!!

It's really nice to see a 3-D piece, just as a change. This one looks very turtle-y to me and I love the swirls on his back. And if you already got a message from me, it's because the program sent it by accident, before I'd finished writing it! I needed to add the "turtle" part! Anyway, really fun thing you created, David!

Great astronaut! He looks like a combination of shocked and excited by all he can see, and the colors are exciting ones. Really good job, David--and a terrific way to start your next year of doing fun art that the rest of us can enjoy, too! Love, Mimi

That is one happy-looking frog, David! The water can look like a hat if you view it one way, so then Froggie seems to be in the middle of another frog's birthday party--and having a ball! What a fun picture!! Love, Mimi

David, this abstract art helps me to think of music, and all the fun I’ve had at concerts! Isn’t it great how a painting can do that!

David, I love how you used tiny lines to create such a realistic bear! And the bear seems to be popping out of the scenery! I just love it o

Love that smile on the crocodile! Do you remember that song about the lady and the croc that starts "She sailed away on a bright and sunny day...?" This reminds me of that song! (Ask your Mom to sing it or I will when I see you soon!
