Kenna: Your artwork depicting the ancient Egyptian pyramids, the Sphinx, the mummy, etc. is so delightful! You have added beautiful details so that anyone can recognize the items you are drawing, and what you are studying about in school. This is a REALLY nice job! Please note that Dave and I have also enjoyed many of your other art pieces this entire year. Love you!! Grandma Betty

Kenna: I absolutely LOVE your balloon dog! You did such a great job, including the shading you incorporated! The dog is SO cute next to the fire hydrant! Also, you put it into the context of a city (with buildings, trees, etc.), so everything looks like a normal cityscape. That makes the picture more interesting and emphasizes the irony. VERY WELL DONE!! You should be very proud of your work. Love you SO much! Grandma Betty

Kenna: Your coloring has improved so rapidly, it is astonishing! You are doing so very well in coloring within the lines. But I also love how you have chosen the colors to create contrasting sections. Did someone teach you about complementary colors for the contrasts or did you figure this idea out on your own? Either way, this lovely piece is one of your best so far and it is truly beautiful! You should be so proud of your work. Love you!

Kenna: Your "Winter Trees" art piece is really lovely!!! I think your trees might be Paper Bark Birch trees, which are very abundant in parts of Minnesota. I see the snow falling in the background, so the picture looks very much like scenes in many parts of Minnesota in the winter. You should be so proud of your artistic talents and your efforts!
