I also think it’s important to let nature remind us that we can give all our energy to being who and what we are as simply as a squirrel or an oak tree seem to do it. I’m glad you noticed.

Wow! I love this Declan; it is so cool! It's such a creative and unique way to think about water. There is so much to appreciate about this piece. I really like the details, from the floor, which looks like square tiles, the mirror, the striped wallpaper, to the bottle of shampoo or bubble bath on the edge of the tub. I appreciate you created your exploding bathroom from recyclable materials. Most of all, the water made from resin is outstanding; what a great idea! And it adds another layer to your artistry by designing the mold for the resin - great job! Love, Grandma

If I wonder what “mayhem” could be in a bathroom, a gently overflowing toilet comes to mind. The clever use of metaphor visually in the size of the exploding water reveals our actual reaction to even the slightest leak. Brilliant, Declan! - Granddaddy N

This is so pretty. I love the shading of the shadows under the trees the most. And the perspective of the stairs. It makes me want to jump in and explore like in Mary Poppins.

I am so impressed, Declan. This is such a whimsical piece with so much movement and expression! I can imagine myself being in the middle of that bathroom feeling shocked and panic and also laughing my head off! I especially love to hear the thought process behind it and how you created each piece as well as your “thinking outside the box” for the overall concept. May be your best work to date! Love it! Good luck on the competition! Love, Mom
