Interesting creature you created! I love the look on its face.

I am not familiar with what this is, but it sure has a big mouth! Maybe it’s a sea or ocean creature? He must be hungry! I don’t want to be in his path and get scooped up into his belly!

Looks just like you Connor! I love that you used your favorite color green for your shirt - so you! I like the how your hair looks textured and skin looks smooth. Nice!

This is crazy cool. I like the colors you chose. Is this you?

What a minute! Is this Jason? If it is, great likeness? If it's not...well it looks like Jason to me.

This is an excellent face, Connor! I can tell you had a fun time drawing that beard. I think this man plays in a bluegrass band. He plays the jug and spoons!

What in the world is going on with this snowman?!? Is he a hero or a villain? He definitely looks battle ready!

Nice work Connor! Who is the mystery dude?

It looks as if the head is a marshmallow getting ready to explode! Love it!!

Are you an illustrator for Disney or Pixar This is fantastic! This snow…creature looks scary smart!

These lights are glowing and look real! Wowsa!

Great perspective! And a perfect bow. I want to untie it to see what is inside!!!

I cannot believe these Christmas lights are not actually plugged in and shining, Connor! They are very festive and well drawn. I really like how the colors are subtle yet very clear.

These are very fanciful pumpkins, Connor! The whole piece reminds me of Walt Disney’s “Cinderella.” There is so much movement here! It looks like the Fairy Godmother has started using her magic on these pumpkins, and one of them is about to turn into a beautiful coach to take Cinderelly to the ball.

Those are amazing cheekbones you drew on this skull, Connor. I agree that the teeth are excellent. I also like the way you shaded the skull’s surface; it’s uneven like a real skull would be. Great!

What a beautiful gift you drew for me, Connor! The perspective you drew is excellent, and the colors indicate to me that this is my Christmas present! I am imagining all the amazing gifts that could be contained inside.

So many dinos; so much activity! The spinosaurs are perfect, and I really like the underground/underwater section. The pterosaur chase is great!

It's like a photograph in the sense that there is a lot of action, but just a captured moment at a stand still. I like the "sound" from the pterodactyl.

love the dinos. The pencil lines are nice and sharp!

I want to swim in this sea, Connor! Not near the jellyfish, of course. I like the different shades of blue in the water you drew, making some areas darker and others lighter. Is that as elasmosaurus I spy above the shipwreck?
Posted 1 year ago by Bobbie
Wow! This is an Awesome underwater scene!!! I really love the Mosasaurus!!! Or is that Nessie? The shipwreck is fantastic with how you have half the ship remaining!!!

What a beautiful painting, Connor! It looks like spring. The shading of both the branch and the cherry blossoms gives the painting natural depth. Well done!

What a beautiful cherry blossom branch. It looks like a tree itself. Very lovely!

Icy! A sky filled with beautiful snowflakes. Brrr! That's what I see at least. Fantastic!
Posted 1 year ago by Nenny
How clever to use gray and black with snowflakes, Connor! The various shades of blue are a gorgeous background. Beautiful.
Posted 1 year ago by Bobbie
This is so pretty. All the snowflakes make me feel chilly.

What beautiful fall leaves, Connor. I really like how the leaves contrast against the background. The watercolor work is excellent! It looks like the leaves are floating on the clear water of a stream or lake. Lovely!

Whoa! At first glance I thought it was a photograph! Exceptional!

Beautiful, Connor! Lovely use of blending and highlighting by you. I can tell where the light is that’s illuminating the scene. Gorgeous.

I feel an expolsion!! It looks so hot and on fire in the center, then gets cooler toward the outside. The black background is a great contrast - it looks cold!
Posted 2 years ago by Nenny
Wow baby this is so awesome! I just love how the sun is front and centre! This whole pic is really mind-blowing.

Explosive! This is a very exciting piece. I see an explosion in outer space with shrapnel flying in all directions. I really like the colors of the explosion against the primarily black and gray of the surrounding space. I also like the way you created a frame on the paper itself.

I love the way the dragon(?) plays against the geometric and pastel background. I’m wondering if you are going for a contrast, i.e “a” vs “b”?…wonder exactly what a and b are. ?? Wonderful!!
Posted 2 years ago by Nenny
This drawing is very exciting. The background is vibrant. I see a dragon and a hidden message. I like this a lot.
Posted 2 years ago by Bobbie
Very interesting patterns, Connor! This is so creative. Well done!
Posted 2 years ago by Bobbie
Ooh, nice! The patterns are messing with my eyes! Love the negative space!

Oooh! A pretty cardinal! I bet you already know this but Grandma Lynn's favorite bird was the cardinal. This is a great rendering Connor! I'm wondering if you drew this from a picture in your mind? Or from a picture you were looking at? I love the little tiny bird flying far away too!
Posted 2 years ago by Nenny
Nice work Connor!! Oma loves cardinals
Posted 2 years ago by Jeanette
Gorgeous shading on the cardinal’s body, Connor. You did a beautiful job coloring the crest to look very feathery. And that’s a perfect orange beak! Your shading on the tree branch gives depth to the drawing. Wait a minute—is that a second cardinal I spy in the background? Excellent!

Well hello Mr. Turkey! I love the way you drew the legs - looks like he’s walking right towards me! The waving wing and the hat that is just off the page on the top edge give it some depth too - a little 3D if you will. He looks pretty serious - like he’s takin’ care business! Yep, I’m not messing’ with this guy!????????

Ooooh! Fascinating! Wow. I literally have never thought about what a pumpkin patch looks like at night. Thank you for the new perspective.????
Posted 3 years ago by Nenny
Wow! I just. . .wow. Excellent perspective; superb pumpkins and jack-o-lanterns.
Posted 3 years ago by Bobbie
This is a beautiful bunch of busyness! I like all the pulses/waves coming from the towers. It’s like even the air itself is busy. I love the void or negative space in th upper left! Nice!
Posted 3 years ago by Nenny
I see so many different lines here! Straight lines, curved lines, spiral lines, squiggly lines. Excellent line drawing, Connor!
Posted 3 years ago by Bobbie
Wow! There is a lot going on. Is that a spider web in the corner?
Posted 3 years ago by Allison (Mother)
Now I understand a bit better what goes on in your head

This looks just like you Connor! ?? I have so many questions about all the figures in this drawing! I love the angles and shapes created by the background colors! Fantastic!
Posted 3 years ago by Nenny
This is a fascinating drawing! I really like the many figures included within the human outline. The image in the brain area has me asking what this person is thinking. I want to discuss this drawing with you very much, Connor! Excellent creativity.
