You really captured great examples for both sides of the brain! This must be your brain because it looks very smart and creative. What made you choose the lyrics to that song, I wonder?

This is fantastic, Oliver! I see so many connections in this drawing. What made you think to include the lyrics from Train? The lines you drew are so clear and confident. The color contrast between the two sides of the drawing reinforces the creative (lots of color) vs analytical (minimal color) hemispheres of the brain you drew. This is superb!

This is a wonderful print, Oliver. I can't quite make out all the symbols, but I see either a peace sign or Mercedes trademark and a football. Is that a talking waffle at the bottom? Peace, football, and waffles!!!

Wow! What an interesting collage, Oliver! It reminds me of Surrealist art from the 20th century. I particularly like your use of color in this piece.

Oooh! This snowman looks like he is experiencing some serious heat! I wonder what it is on that side, out of the picture, that is creating that heat on him?...The sun? A fire? Hmm... And the other side of him looks nice and cool. Love it!

You did a great job blending the oil pastels you used for this snowman, Oliver. I am also impressed with the highlights and shadows that show me where the sun is located in relation to the snowman. Great party hat!

Beautiful, Oliver. I like the shapes and primary colors within the large circle. The shapes on the left look like they form a kind of fin, and that makes the large circle look like it’s moving. Is that a sideways happy face I see in the top left corner? It looks like it’s moving in the wake of the large circle as well. So much to see here!

Lovely!! The heavier lines of the cross make it look strong and in the forefront of the image. The soft lines of the tree make it look lighter and softer and more in the background.

This is very zesty artwork, Oliver! The lettering is excellent. I really like how the lightning Y is dripping sauce on to the chunky C and beyond. I want to have barbecue for dinner now!

The muted colors of this drawing are very relaxing. The juxtaposition of the red ornament with the greens of the branch is attractive. This drawing makes me feel calm amidst the holiday hubbub. I like this a lot!

Nice artwork Oliver! There is a lot of interest movement in this piece. I like the way the strokes of all the colors are horizontal and the way the round outline shapes suggest a circular motion. Then there is that itty bitty lean or sway of the dandelion looking part. (Sorry if that isn’t what it is - I’m just trying to describe what I’m referring to.) I’m really drawn into that smaller circular shape and I want to know what is going on in there!!
