I think this is my favorite piece that you’ve done. The bottom looks like the crash of the waves and the top does a good job of capturing depth.

Great job, Silas. Great Grandpa Silas would love this art. He had such respect for our flag. He always hung the flag on patriotic holidays and made sure to take it down at dusk. His Veteran of Foreign Wars group would have special fundraisers to support indigent veterans.

Silas, I recently told one of the women in my Sunday school class about how fascinated with God’ design of leaves. Following church, I took flowers to Grandpa Richard and in front of his tombstone was a beautiful leaf. I took it to place in my Bible. Grandpa’s love blesses us every day
