Hi Maddy, Uncle Bobby and I love these colorful cacti. The one of the left reminds us of the (native to Tennessee) prickly pear cactus. the middle is a cool saguaro that is found in Arizona. On the right is the barrel cactus. You could be a biological illustrator!!!! Uncle Bobby says the “cacti fans would love your work of art”.

Hi maddy. This is the cutest little bird. I love the wings. They look like stained glass. And his eyes are so bright and big. We have an app called Merlin that helps us identify birds. I think you have a new species.

Hi Maddy, This is a wonderful self-portrait. The detail in the hair with the addition of the tiny vertical lines makes it look so realistic (and beautifully combed). I see a banana and maybe a juice box? Are you on your way to a picnic?

Looks like Maddy Grace is going on a spring picnic!! Enjoy!

Hi Maddy, Great job on the winter polar bear. I love his eyes. This bear is looking up slightly to his left giving the impression of deep thought on a cold winter night. He is thinking "Humm, how am I going to stay warm with these giant snow flakes falling?". Nice job on the scarf too. Very realistic.

Hey Maddy Grace! Love this bear! I just wonder if he has been in the honey ?? pot?? I liked your last “crayon” looking people as well!!

Happy Halloween. Old "Jack" has a big wide-open mouth ready to have plenty of Halloween candy. The tiny "jack" in the left corner looks like he had a little too much candy. Keep making great art. Love Aunt T.

Hi Maddy, My favorite root veggie in your picture is the purple topped turnip. Have you ever tasted one? My mother made them for us a few times. She added lots of butter and sugar when she cooked them. When cooked, they look like a potato-- but taste very different. You should ask your mom and dad to buy one for you to try. Remind them to add lots of butter and sugar. People also eat the leafy green tops. They are very healthy with lots of vitamins. Keep up the good work. Love, Aunt T.

Wow! You are becoming a great artist! These veggies look so realistic, it looks like you could get them right out of Dad-Dad’s garden. Keep up the good work! Love you bunches, MomMom

Hi Maddy, I love this pizza pie. It makes me think of my favorite pizza restaurant in Oak Ridge called Big Eds. Do you remember eating there with us at Christmas? I see spinach (organic shape), little squares of mozzarella cheese (geometric shape), sun dried tomatoes (organic shape) and the gray mushrooms (organic shapes), and the triangular crust (geometric shape). The rolled up edge of the crust gives the pizza a great 3D real life look. Keep up the good work Maddy. Aunt T.
