Once again you've outdone yourself with variety. And then the completely different variety of lines and line pairs making separations. Voila, Fiona

This is amazing Fiona! Beautiful colors and soft swooping lines. I'd like to hear more about the glue technique, that sounds interesting!

Your color choices are always so interesting! And I like how your shapes blend into each other. Nice job, Fiona. You are a great artist!

"Colorful Squiggles" is a great name for this picture. I can't figure out what you were thinking about when you drew it, but I always like to try. Keep coming up with more imaginative pictures I was going to say, "Like this", but instead I'll say, "Like whatever you can come up with in that (soon to be) little 9-year-old brain". Love your inventions. Papa

Fiona, I'm amazed how many different patterns you can come up with, and then 2 separate rainbows for the background! Keep on having great art ideas!

This is a very interesting piece of art. I am not sure how you did this but I really like they way each character fades as you go down the page. And how do the colors change? I like this a lot!! Love, B

That's a really good interpretation of "Kandinsky style" painting. Hopefully your teacher will introduce you to many other art styles. And you can still do your own "Fiona style" anytime you want. That's the best.

This looks just like a Kandinsky!!! I love the colors and all the different geometric shapes. Fun to look at!!!

This is soooo detailed. I can see all the layers you described too. I love the little cabin on the left. This looks like the perfect spot to vacation at. I really like this one. ??????

What a pretty and detailed picture. You're right: lines are everywhere

I LOVE that you put a B in your picture!!!!! I also ;ove your color arrangements. You have a vivid, bright background and then you chose objects that are normally very colorful and made them black and white. VERY interesting!

Wow. I don't know how you keep coming up with all this unique artwork. I've never seen a black and white flower from that point of view. And the idea to do all background in rainbow colors plus greenish-grey and all the objects in black-and-white. Great job, Fiona. Papa

Your pictures always show so much happiness. The colors, the characters, everything is so happy. Just like you little ladybug.??????????

Wow. I love the creative ideas and color arrangements you dream up. That's the most unique flower drawing I've ever seen, from the angle it's shown, to the fact that it's in black and white. Background in rainbow colors, plus tan, and all the "objects' in black and white. I've never seen anyone do that before. Papa

I am so glad you explained this picture to me. I understand it now. I see the two different worlds. The world on the left is evil. The world on the right is good. You do such a great job of showing emotions in your pictures. They LOOK evil and good!

You sure do come up with some original ideas for your artwork. That butterfly is great, so many colors and a unique arrangement of the shapes. Good job! Papa

I LOVE this! The soft colors in the middle heart are gorgeous. I don’t even know how you did that. Is it chalk?

I loved the question going with this picture, and the middle heart seems like a cloud-heart.

Each time I see this picture, I see different things in it. It looks to me like it could be interpreted in some different ways, and the various parts sometimes change from one thing to another. There's a lot to see, and it makes me wonder what you were thinking when you put it together. It makes me look very closely at it to try to find parts I missed the first time. I like your pictures that make me think--about the picture and about you. Papa

It took me awhile to see the "F" in your name. And that's a strange little guy under the "n". What are those black spots under the jumping dragon? Very nice and very detailed.

You sure have a wide variety of ways to show similar kinds of things, like reversing the order of the colors on the 2 skirts. Is that a porcupine in the bottom corner? Papa
Posted 2 years ago by Donna (Grandfather)

WOW! There are so many things to look at in this picture. I want a skirt like that??
