Ben, this is terrific! I love the red cardinals, and it was creative to perch one high and one low. Using snowflakes gave it a chilly feel. Cardinals are the Virginia state bird - one of my favorites. Nice artwork, Ben!

Dear Ben, this is a very, very interesting piece of artwork! I really like the patterns you drew with the sharpie pen - they are all different but relate to each other. The moon, the night sky, and the green grass make the pumpkins pop out and the shading you used around the pumpkins give them a rounded effect. Cool art!

Oh, WOW, Ben - what an interesting art project! Learning about Egypt must have been very interesting. Such a different culture than ours. The beetle you made with your hieroglyphic name is so amazing. You've taught me something new with this one also. I love it and am ordering postcards. Love you! Grandmommy

Great show of dimension. It definitely looks like the southwest. Colors are definitely on target. Great job !!!

Ben, this is a great way to show perspective - the top building looks further away. I like the sandy colors you used - a great "southwest" painting. It looks dry like that part of the country with the cactus and adobes. I also like the night sky. Two thumbs up!

I love your use of color and the forced perspective in the picture. I’m so impressed with your use of 3D drawing making the windows look cut out and deep with the warm yellow glow of light inside the houses. Nicely done. You’re so good at this!!

Wow, Ben...you just keep getting better and better! I think the lighthouse looks like a safe place in the storm that is on the horizon. It really gives an emotion which is what artists like to portray in their artwork. Terrific example! Love it! I hope the sky doesn't look like this when we go boating. The use of yellow for the lighthouse gives a warmth that draws the viewer into the picture. We should go visit a lighthouse this summer. :-)

Ben, I love the colors you chose. The water is a combination of beautiful blues. The lighthouse is there protecting boats from running aground. The sky looks stormy so the lighthouse will play an important role in keeping the boaters safe. Great job.

Benjamin - I'm a real fan of your artwork...this should be in a gallery. I love the background colors you chose and the way you blended the colors, and also the prickly cactus with the addition of cactus flowers - it's beautiful. This would also make a very nice greeting card. Love from Gma :-)

Oh, my!! Such beautiful colors, Ben! I love your creativity in expressing different patterns. The orange feels warm, the white is icy, the purple and blue are cool, and the pink and yellow feel happy. Isn't it amazing how your colors give off a "feeling"? You are doing a fantastic job in your artwork! Keep up the interesting art you are making for us to enjoy. I'm looking forward to your next project. Love you!

Hey, Ben! I really like your "scissor work" on this piece. The cool tones make the snowflake stand out and gives it that wintery feel. I love it! You're becoming a very good artist.

Hi Ben! Wintertime is Snowman time! I like the four different viewpoints on your artwork...and the blue you used to make the feeling of it being cold. Happy Snowmen are the best ones. Great work, Ben. Love You!

Ben, this is a very happy autumn piece of artwork! I love the smile on the scarecrow with the straw sticking out of his body, and the cool clothes you chose along with the top hat - very distinguishing! You did an excellent job with diminishing perspective to give it depth also, along with the windmill on the horizon. Love the pumpkins, too. Great!!

Wow..this is savage, Ben! A real cave man artwork. I like the intense colors you used. So glad we didn't live back in the cave-man days. :-) Love you!

Wow, Ben! I love your creative jungle picture! What a lot of animals I see...elephant, sloth (you held one of those!), gorilla, toucan, parrot, monkey, tiger...and is that an iguana? I can almost hear the jungle sounds! Fabulous artwork, Ben! Love the smiling sloth! Very colorful.

Love the painting Starry Starry night and it was very easy to see that was your inspiration. I love the bold colors you used that really stood out in the foreground. Good job.

BEN THAT LOOKS AMAZING!! Way to go buddy - got a good eye!

I love your use of the yellow. it shines so bright in the dark landscape. Perfect pop of color. I didn’t even know beforehand that this was inspired by “Starry Night” and I felt that inspiration immediately! Way to go on creating a beautiful night sky in the city.

This is a wonderful use of bold, dramatic colors to express a dark night. I can imagine seeing shooting stars in the sky on a windy night, Ben. Terrific artwork. I love it! Keep up your expressive talent. I’m looking forward to the next one, too, Artist Ben.

This is very unique and takes a creative outlook to be able to draw in a 3D way on paper. I love the expressive way you display the cake...it draws the viewer right into the image. I would like to have a piece, please. Wonderful artwork, Ben!
