I really like this Isabelle. In fact, when I saw it, I thought it should be put up for that school art website where outstanding pieces get voted on for prizes for your school. There's so many colors and figures in this piece, which provides a lot of stimulus to the mind's eye. It looks great!!

Hi Isabelle, It's been so long since I've seen any artwork of yours posted. This piece brings back childhood memories for me. It reminds me of how we used to fold paper into quarters and then cutout designs with scissors. When we unfolded it, it looked very much like your artwork. It kind of looks like a lace design with very neatly added colors. It's very, very pretty. We never added colors just cut the designs. Thanks for doing this, it really takes me back to childhood.

I like your comment of using a "bee" b/c of the letter "B". You put the empty spaces right where they should be (no pun intended) to make your bee look like a "B". I also like the coloring on the little bee. Now if the little bee was a spider, I'd figure that he had spun a thread and attached it to the letter "B". So what is the structure attaching the little bee to the letter? You did a nice job, honey (pun intended). :)

Ok, Isabelle, I think I got this one. It looks like a tiny plankton that is going to be eaten by a big scaly green fish. I like the green plankton which a lot of them are that color d/t photosynthesis. Your variegation of greens is quite realistic looking in a fish scale. I really like the whole piece, very colorful.

Your blending of the brown/white/pink in the ears is excellent. It looks so real. You color in the lines so well, too. This looks like you used highlighters not crayons b/c of the smoothness of the coloring. The blue looks like it might be crayon or colored pencil. At any rate, you chose beautiful colors. Uncle Tom thinks that you must really be looking forward to spring b/c you put sunglasses on your bunny. I also like those little carrots on the side. It's better for bunnies to eat carrots rather than candy.

Your artwork is beautiful. I know you like purple and pink. You blended the blue in very well in this piece, and the yellow really sets it off giving it just the right brightness. I'm trying to figure if it's more like a puzzle or mosaic. At any rate, you did very well.
