Walker! Oh wow! This is an intriguing new one! I see a skull face with blooming flowers for eyes! That's a wonderful juxtaposition of states. I also like the way you did the teeth-- almost like the bars in a jail cell. Perhaps this was not intentional on your part... but I could read a lot more into this painting if that were the case. For example, this piece conjures in me a human being who is full of life and yet dead to the world-- because he's been silenced-- he is unable to speak freely (a cage for a mouth) and thus endures a muzzled and moribund existence. His eyes (with the flowers) show that he is alive and that he yearns for more-- but he is not allowed to express his passion (hence the purple color around the cage of his mouth & purple being the color representing passion). I'm likely I'm reading WAY too much into this but.. it's good "food for thought". Think about this... your subconscious mind might have been orchestrating this exact narrative while you composed this piece! You are just scratching the surface of your creative capabilities, buddy. And I love having a front-row seat! Love you so much! Daddy

Cool, buddy. I love how you chose to accentuate the eyes (which they say are "the windows to the soul"). Someone's eyes can tell you a great deal about how they feel (obviously), who they are at their core (i.e., kind, shifty, dead inside, etc.), what their intentions might be... and on and on. Question: I wonder... did you have an idea of who this character was before you created him? Or did he come to life spontaneously as you sketched him? Were you wanting to capture an essence? Or did you just think of Tim Burton-type characters and let loose? I always love seeing what you create. Keep going! Love you, Daddy
