Tristan, I would enjoy looking up into the night sky and seeing your dog constellation come into view in the dark black sky with glimpses of blue. It looks like Oscar - I hope he’s in a good mood. He is a star and so are you.

Ahoy! Red at night, sailors delight - the ship is sailing the high seas. I love the big wave and different shades of blue. A beautiful water color just in time for summer.

This bird painting is extremely special to me because I love birds and your use of lines and color made it look so real. I like how on a day with a blue sky it's perched on a twig looking around seemingly so happy and peaceful. Great job!

There is the use of good line quality and shading in your self-portrait. The details on the face and proportionate size of the head to the shoulders is promising. Keep up the good effort.

Nice triptych for the Day of the Dead. The black background works nicely as a background. The red rose in the white skull's mouth is thoughtfully placed on each side as a gift to remember a departed love one. Nice symbolism of respect - wonderfully painted!

This painting makes me feel free right along with the eagle. Your choice of colors and swirling pattern make for a challenging background. It looks like the eagle has made it through to freedom. I like the feeling of hope your painting gives me. Excellent job!

There is so much to see in this piece of artwork. Each square stands alone nicely but the colors, especially the repeated use of blue, shows a connection between the squares that make you want to keep coming back to look at it whether up close or from a distance. Great job!

The different shades of brown take me into a cave. The primitive stick figures seem to tell a story of a hunt. Fantastic!

This drawing is so engaging. My mind sees so many things happening. Could it be a folded quilt, your intestines in a knot, a caterpillar party or a storm brewing to name a few things. Your choice of colors are cool. What a fun piece!

Your picture tells a wonderful story but I definitely wouldn't want to live there with the heat, sand and desert critters. :)

You did a nice job of using a grid to reproduce this painting. Super effort!

The use of the analogous colors - blue and purple - are appealing. Using black in the center of each flower picks up the black in the flower pot. The lightness on the left directs the eye to the direction of the light and is also evident in the stem of the flowers. Gorgeous!

Good line quality. Those eyes seem to be staring at something. Neat!

I can see how much thought you put into this piece. The black head with one blue eye and one white eye surrounded by brown only adds to the sharpness of the teeth to make anyone say, "beware this creature". Having the nose share the color of the blue eye displays a balance.
