Jada, I like that you explored the beauty in such a small thing as a rock. I hope that you do that this summer. Pick up flat broken rocks. You may just find a fossil! It may be the outline of a small shell that was in the mud before it became a rock! Mrs. Henson

Jada, It is interesting to think about artists being fascinated with different things and exploring this through art. I wish that I could ask the artist, Mondrian, about his interest in lines. What would you ask him? Mrs. Henson

I like that you learned about artists who illustrate books in art class. The musical notes help me think of the music the mouse is dancing to. He is such a cute little mouse dancing with the balls. Mrs. Henson

Jada, I like that you used so many things to draw and color your fish. You used pencils, markers, oil crayons and watercolors. WOW! Don't you think that all of these things made your fish extra special? I do, too. Happy Fishing, Mrs. Henson

Jada, I love how you learn about different art techniques with Mrs. Jadud. Your chameleon art project taught you about collages and about illustrating books. That's neat! I like the spots and stripes on yours. Mrs. Henson

Jada, This was your first beetle picture. You learned about the parts of an insect in learning how to draw beetles. Good work! Mrs. Henson

Jada, You drew, colored, painted and decorated beetles in art class. You also learned about their history in art. You became a beetle expert! I especially like how your sequin jewels pop out on your beetle. The gold spots are a beautiful detail. The antenna are so cute, too! Mrs. Henson

Jada, The artist who inspired your snail picture, Henry Matisse, lived in France. It reminds me of our trip around the world. I love your details. You even thought of drawing little snails in the border. Mrs. Henson
