Tahlia, Poppa and I love your depiction of a "spooky halloween". Your use of black and white with the purple background lends to the spooky side of your creation but the smiling ghost adds a touch of whimsy!

Dear Tahlia, What beautiful colors and details you used! That is a very cool effect with the wax crayon resist. You learned a lot about this process. It's such a colorful special castle for you and your friends!

Spooky for sure. The dark sky, the full moon and the gray ghost that appears as a shadow. However, both ghosts are smiling which suggests they are happy and friendly. Are they flying above a mountain? We hope you keep using that wonderful imagination of yours!

Tahlia, we love the way you incorporated the different media into this piece. The earth, sun and moon against the backdrop of a star filled sky makes us feel we are in that rocket! The purple in the rocket reflects you and your favorite color. Nice work!

Dear Tahlia, It is so fun to see your new art! We love your interpretation of your very own colorful and elaborate "castle" treehouse. There are so many interesting shapes and places to explore! It also looks like there are some very cool monkey bars for you, Natalie and your other friends to play and climb on, too! Much love, Dia and G

Tahlia, The colors of the tree and the row of buildings(houses?) in this piece leave us feeling "happy". The reflection of the colors below makes us think of water and calmness and peace. Beautiful work!
