Hi Ford! You can do so much with your carved block design right? Did you use colored pencil here? Very thoughtful color choices and the end result is very sweet. I like your black and white on gold AND this colorful one on gold!

Ford, block printing was one of my favorite art methods! I made a block printed silk scarf in college. How blessed are you to have the opportunity to learn about this process in the 2nd grade! Your craftsmanship is excellent here! The detail is beautiful and I am so proud of you!

Beautiful ink wash landscape Ford. Did you enjoy this method? Working with only black ink, water & brush must have seemed challenging at first. Bet it was fun to add bright red for the berries! They really stand out!

I note that you were patient scratching in the all scales on the fish. This adds beauty that stands out. Are they swimming around a water lily? I know you’ve done color scratch art at home. Black and white is especially effective here! Love you.
