Your snowman and footprints add so much interest to the giant tree! And the pop of color in the background keeps my eye moving!

I didn’t even realize all the shapes were the same! Amazing how the same thing can look so different if it’s turned and it’s a different color! Very interesting.

Xander that looks super cool! I like the way you used the contrasting colors.

Another good job Xander showing the depth of the scene. Love the tracks and the snowman or is that the bird who made the tracks? A nice wintery, cold but sunny morning picture!

Good job, Xander! Just looking at the forest from your height and perspective is very interesting. Makes me happy and gives the feeling of a beautiful new day about to begin. You can almost smell the fresh morning air! Nice job showing the depth of the scene with color.

X-man, I really like the skyline in this painting. Although it could be dusk or dawn, I imagine it is early morning and the forest is just filling with the light of day. Nice Job !!!!!

Xander, I love the bright colors and the detail of red stitching. Is this how you feel when watching and playing baseball? Great Job!
Posted 1 year ago by Minnie Terri

X-man, That is a happy looking baseball. Do you think it is happy because it got hit out of the park for a homerun of is it more likely that it is happy because the batter wiffed on him? Either way, you did a great job on this project!!!!

Xman, This is great, I really like the transition from yellow to gray. There is a distinct line between the two colors but then there are a few lighter spots before it gets really dark. My favorite part is that kooky Squid and the dude that looks like pacman!!!!!

This looks amazing! I love how the color starts off dark and gradually gets lighter. Did you get to choose the colors? They look great next to each other. There is such a story in this painting! I can't wait to hear it!

There is a lot of detail in the leaves and on the flower itself. Great observations! We should try to plant sunflowers again this year!
Posted 1 year ago by Karla (Mother)

Xander, I love how your sunflower looks like it is being blown sideways by a gentle summer breeze and the petals are reaching up to the sun.Nice choice of background colors and design.

Great job on your pinch pot! There's a nice pattern to it. Did you get to choose the colors?
Posted 1 year ago by Karla (Mother)

Xander, Your pinch pot is amazing. The colors and shapes do look like a spider on the sun. What do you think you will keep in it? If we find the marble from my wall when the snow is gone, maybe it would be safer in the pinch pot than the wall during winter.

Hi Xander-Bumpa and I like your bowl. Did this project pique your interest in working with clay? Did your teacher talk about other methods of making clay projects by hand as opposed to on a wheel?

There is so much color! The scarecrow and birds, apples in the trees. You've included a lot of detail which must have required planning. Nice job!

Looks like someone is having fun riding up and down those hills! Better get home to that cheerful pink house before those storm clouds begin to rain on him. What could be better than blue birds and an apple tree. Good job Xander!

Xander, I love your color choices. The dark sky where the birds are grouped together over the bright, warm, pink house. I find the dark character standing by the house ominous. You have so many wonderful details.Especially the rolling hills.

X-Man, I really like the space between the flowers where the background shows through. It makes the flowers looking like they just opened up like a firework. The dashed lines on the pot remind me a an old school video game called Frogger. Nice Job !!!!!!!

Xander, Interesting how all the objects are collecting upwards. Are you in the rocketship? What did you use to paint with? The colors are warm and inviting. This piece reminds me of the vibrant colors in the ocean.

X-man, I really like your monster!!!! The colors are fantastic!! He looks pretty friendly. Is that you in the picture with him? Do you think he would fit in the pool? If he had some sunglasses he would get along with Sharky and ducky.
