I love this piece JJ! It is so creative. A kindergartner's dream indeed! It feels like so many of the children's books you've read rolled into a surrealist dream. Love!

This is beautiful JJ. Did you use watercolors? What inspired you? I love how you made the edges wispy and soft. It's as if the creatures could escape at any moment.

This guy reminds me of your Seraphon minifigs! Maybe this was your inspiration?

I love this interpretation of yourself. I see your hazel eyes through the warm-colored feathers. And of course, you're wearing your favorite color, blue! Great job!

Looks super cool. I like the ears and the jewel on the forehead. Can't wait to see it in person.

Hi JJ: Love your design. Great eye catcher. I think I wrote a comment before. I purchased a tee with your design. You are very talented. Keep it up! Love, Nanny NoNo

This is really interesting JJ! Though it's a bit uncanny because the illusion makes me feel uneasy, as if I'm going to fall into the picture. Wonderful job!

What a fun paper mache puppet! It reminds me of your Ahmal project last year. The green eyes are a fun contrast color. I would love to make more puppets and do a show with you this summer. Great work JJ!!

You really put into picture the old expression "the eyes are the window to the soul." And I can't wait to see this piece in person to get a better look at the background. Intriguing! Great work!!

I love it! The sky is amazing and helps the pyramids pop out. And your dragon is fantastic. You've improved so much since you learned to draw dragons. I'm so proud of your hard work and dedication to art!

I love this piece JJ! Is the setting Giza? Is this a diorama? I can't wait to see this in person? I'm also very curious about your choice of pencil for the dragon. Great job. Mom

I love all the bright background colors and textures you chose to highlight the shells. It really makes them pop! It's as if the starfish is going to fall off the page. Beautiful.
