I recognized this picture immediately! But I thought it was by Piet Mondrian and that I had seen it in a museum in New York! I once had a dress that looked like this . . . He was a very popular artist. But this is an original by Shoshana and it's just as good! I hope we can do a project together soon with some of the art supplies I've gathered! Love Love and More Love

You painted a wonderful representation of Alma Thomas's artwork. It is so colorful and reminds of pointillism using geometric shapes. She was very brave to become an artist when women and people who are black weren't treated fairly. But she persisted. I think you are like that, too. You are brave and you persist in your accomplishments. I am so proud to be your Grandma!

Dear Shoshana, I wish I had seen this before Chanukah. It has beautiful blues and delicate flowers that almost float. Your use of color and shading is getting quite sophisticated. It's amazing that you gave a monochromatic picture such personality!

Oh my, Shoshana! This painting is so cool! It's a very modern piece. I love how you have different shades of blue in the center, some lighter and some darker. The flowery shapes and colors are very creative and make this a wonderful piece. I think you could sell it and start a career as an artist!
