Summer fun food!!! How great is the watermelon?? I want to know what flavor the green rind is, the red of the melon, and what the seeds would taste like. I love the fact that the shapes are not uniform. The rainbow one, makes me want to eat it round and round. The blueberry green apple looking one looks refreshing! You never cease to make me smile. Wow, who took you to see the works of Keith Haring? Talk about movement! Continuous joy I can see painted as a border around the top of your bedroom. Gouache can be a magical medium to work with.You once again have given it your all. The gingerbread house looks appetizing, your attention to detail super and non-traditional, but the added splash of what appears to be an aurora borealis gives the piece a phenomenal depth. Nice work Molly. Observational art can be a lot of fun. I had a professor once that said to us, "Draw what you see." He encouraged us to have our sketch books with us at all times. I know you keep one in the car which gives you a lot of opportunities to draw what you see! Keep making art it is positive energy!!!

MMM this is fantastic! It looks just like our family kitty when I was little. His name was Beethoven. When your great-grandpa brought him home from the farm, he liked to walk up and down and the piano keys. Unfortunately, he did have Beethoven's skill. Silly kitty!
