Marcellus -- this is a really interesting piece. I love the way you have leverage colors in this image. It makes me curious of how this piece was create. Did you see birch trees near your school, research a scene that you wanted to capture, or did imagery originate from your mind. I feel like this could be a book cover, a postcard, or an illustration in a storybook. I love your attention to detail -- from the placement of the main focus on the tree and how they are positioned in the foreground to the smaller branched and leaves to the detail on the grass on the forest floor....every time I look at the image I find something else that I notice. great job. keep up the good work bring your images to live on paper/canvas.
