You have me guessing about one thing that is on top of this water picture. I see the beautiful rose and its leaves and the water lily pads, but am not sure about what the squiggly green & tan thing is. A root? A piece of a limb? Or how about a monster's head?!

Did you draw those very straight lines with a ruler before you filled in the rectangular shapes they made when they intercepted with the bright, happy colors? Inara, really a snappy way to produce contrasts.

I like to think of the colored mounds behind the white bear as mountains of different flavored snow. You have a creative mind!

Inara, this is the most beautiful turtle I have ever seen! The colors are brilliant and the bubbles in the water show that the turtle is very happy, maybe laughing or singing while swimming. You are a terrific artist??
