Dear Simon! I like your use of color. The way you have used it makes me think of night time in the desert. Your subject was definitely the Joshua. Thanks for my good feelings.

Dear Simon! Your new art work is very colorful. I like the cheer that all those delightful colors bring. I am not sure how the lesson went - you will have to explain the quilt thing to me.

Dear Simon! When I first saw this art, I thought of topographic maps where contour lines show three dimensional landscapes on a two dimensional plane (flat paper). Your teacher has made something sort of complicated understandable. Nice work. You will find lots of contour lines in both science work and art work.

Dear Simon! I like the pattern this art makes. It looks like an old fashion whirly gig ready to taste the evening breeze. A whirly gig is a toy with which I played. Not sure if they still exist. Love you.

Love the color choices. It looks like sunset and the sun going down behind the coastal range. That was my thought at first glance. You are learning so much about art and its creators. Also it is helping you to hone your observational skills. Thanks.

As I was scrolling down on your posted art work, I said to myself that looks like jellyfish! Then I saw the part that said the lesson had to do with jelly fish. So you did the lesson well. I knew it was about jelly fish. Do you ever see jellyfish when you go to the beach?

Dear Simon, you certainly learned a lot about honeybees. I like your honeybee. I have lots of bees in my garden. They really like the blue flowers on Rosemary bushes.

Liebe Simon, This is an interesting piece, At first i thought it resembled an eye with the pupil, then it looked like i was falling into something, then I thought of a tunnel. One picture can one think of different things. You let my imagination have fun. I also learned about a new to me artist. Thank you!

Hi Simon! Your big bad fairy tail wolf is looking pretty fierce and strong. In your story, does he blow the house down and what happens to the pigs?

Hi Simon! I just viewed your composition in the Mondrian style. The primary colors are placed well. You have used your vertical and horizontal lines to advantage. It always makes me feel good to see your thoughtful work. Your work shows you learned the art lesson. There is so much to know about art. Love you, Grammie
