What song is your bird singing as you paint her into the bird house? Nice job, Charlie. I am familiar with Alma Thomas, the artist who inspired you to paint a bird. Next you will have to paint some of the birds you see outside of your windows, by the feeders, on the birdhouses you painted at home. I really enjoy seeing your artwork. Wow! That was an interesting new technique to learn in art. What did you use to draw the bird onto the styrofoam? Your picture reminds me of the birds we see by your birdhouses, bushes, and feeders when we visit you. Your picture looks just like them.

I am really impressed by this artwork. I love the shade of color in the sky, so many sparkling stars, the size and shape of the buildings against the contrasting dark hills. Next time I visit we can use this inspiration for the sidewalk art we love to do together. Keep up the creative work. I can tell art is your favorite thing to do.

Hm, now I have a hard time deciding which tree is my favorite, this one or the simple one. I think the simple one is more "winter" and this one looks more "holiday" with the presents. I love both.

Charlie, I love all of your art, the trees, the farm, and the girl which are my favorites. I think you made very neat letters in your untitled art that I call the Valentine project. I could watch you express yourself through your art all day long.
