Wow, Waylon! I LOVE this picture of the sheep in the Irish countryside! The colors are so vibrant, the red fence such a visible contrast ... and is that a rainbow in the upper left, coming down into the field? Really cool painting!

Waylon, I love your bejeweled scarab. I don’t think most Americans would ever consider a bug to be a very important sacred animal — do you? And how cool to be working in 3-D!

Waylon stands out because he is truly talented:) I'm getting to know so many kids this year, so the fact that I knew him in the first few weeks says a lot. You should all be proud:)
We have always felt that Waylon had a talent for art - especially for doing his own thing on the page. His great aunt, Julie (an artist in her own right), has always been impressed with his ability to leave open spaces in his art and the spontaneity. He obviously had an assignment for these pictures; but aren't they great !
