This picture reminds me of our neighborhood after a big storm when the sky turned blue again and we all went outside to see if the trees were still standing. Some were, but many were splintered like the artist shows here. Being proud of the ones that survived did not make us love the broken ones less. I see that love here.

This pomegranate looks good enough to eat. I can feel the tart juice dripping down my chin. Love the seeds that got away.

These ants mean business in a good way. They’re working and living together like a community should. We should be like ants.
