Hi Claire, We love "Serendipity" both for the inspiration of the star light and also for your insightful comment about our significance even when we feel insignificant. It reminds us of a favorite quote: "Coincidences happen when God chooses to remain anonymous. " Much love, Nana & Papa

Hi Claire, I was just reading about a fictional city festooned with banners for the inaugural of a new ruler. If they were lucky, their banners looked just like your art work! We love your artwork, Claire. Your proud grandparents, Nana & Papa

Dear Claire, What an inspired painting! It's so mysterious, surreal and at the same time so real that I feel I could step outside onto my deck and see this very moon and this very star shining in our back yard. Amazing! Now all I need is the magical green hat! Lots of love, Nana & Papa too

Hi Claire, I LOVE "Rose Explosion", particularly because it caught me off guard! I expected a title concerning the moon or the sky--and instead received a rose explosion. And of course that is what it is--an explosion of roses and I see the "shockwave" proceeding from the roses--or a "love wave"! Such a creative reimagining of a skyline!

Hi Claire, I love the symmetry and fluidity of this piece. Sometimes when I gaze at it, I can feel the tug between the white and black lines and shapes. At other times, the two colors and different shapes feel so complementary that the feeling I get is a strong sense of "connectedness." Thank for this delightfully engaging piece, Claire!

What I noticed right away, Claire, is how each one of these colors pulls toward the other colors, and yet each one stands out on its own. All the colors are strong and bold and bright, which makes the whole piece joyful even if some of the figures seem unusual in their proportions or lines. Thanks for making such mesmerizing piece! I love looking at it. Love, Carolyn/Nana

I love this art! The blues and yellow make a great collage! Lillipads? Green PAC-men? Kites? Horseshoes crabs? I see so many possibilities!! Love Dad

This is such a thoughtful piece of art! I like the way the center colors connect to the colors used radially. I see the whit borders create both visual separation and connection. I notice that each color petal has different threads. This speaks to me! Love. Dad
