This is one of my favorite pictures you have drawn. You seem to like a lot of different animals. This is so “Christmasy”. It would have made a very nice Christmas card.

I love this little owl. We don’t have many Christmas ornaments but one of the ones I saved was a little wood owl that looks almost exactly like the one you drew. I perched ours in the Christmas wreathe that is hanging on our front door. He seems to like it there nestled in the greenery and pine ones.

Is this a picture of an apple farm that you and your family visited? I know you have been to several orchards with Mom, and perhaps Dad, to pick fruit. Tim and I visited a farmer’s market once when we were in Falmouth. We bought all kinds of fruit and veggies. They were really good. I like your picture. It looks like a happy farm that someone loves and takes care of.

You used some of my favorite colors in this picture, Camden. I like the way the colors compliment each other to give the picture a sense of unity. And the design adds to that “oneness” even more. Great job! Looks like you had a plan from start to finish. I like it!

That’s a scary Halloween critter! It’s so life-like. Did you draw that from memory or did you have a picture or model to look at while you were working? You are a much better artist than I am!!!!

Is this your version of a very hungry caterpillar? Because if it is, I think it is delightful. I like all the colors. He looks very friendly and happy. He must have had some chicken nuggets or cheese pizza!

Wow!!! Camden!!! This one sure really terrific. First of all, it is green which is one of my favorite colors. But it also uses so many design elements. I love the mix of lines, circles, triangles and rectangles. And I appreciate the 3-D aspect of your design and how you filled the space with different shades textures. It really pops!

Tim asked me what I think you painted in this picture. I said I think it could be all kinds of different things. For example, when I look at it one way I see a vase of pansies. They are such colorful friendly flowers. When I look at it another way I see a bunch of dish scrubbers waiting to be used to wash dinner dishes. Then again, I see a bunch of cut summer flowers or a glass filled with different flavored lollipops. Could also be brightly colored Mexican sombreros hanging on sticks stuffed in a clear plastic container outside a store front. Could be lots of other things as well. What were you thinking when you drew it?????

Hi Camden. Looking at your picture is just like looking out my sunroom window at all the Fall colors and leaves. There is a bright blue sky and just enough of a breeze to make it look like it is raining leaves!! It’s magica! It’s almost like you were here looking out the window, too, and drawing what you saw. I bet Falmouth must have been having a beautiful Fall when you drew this picture. Nice job!!
